Fudge Brownies

  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1 package (6 ounces) of semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup extra semisweet chocolate chips


Heat the oven to 350 degrees
Grease the bottom only of a square pan, 8x8x2
Heat butter and 6 ounces of choclate chips in a 2-Quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted; remove from heat. Stir in the rest of the ingedients except for extra chocolate chips.
After the mixture is relatively smooth again, stir in he extra chocolate chips. Poor/spread in pan.
Bake until center is set, about 30 minutes. Let brownies cool in pan before cutting.
Makes 16 brownies if cut 4 brownies across and 4 brownies down.
