Latkes

Conversion Table U.S. to Metric and Metric to U.S.

Ingredients:

  • 8 large potatoes
  • One large onion
  • 3 eggs
  • Half a glass of flour
  • Salt pepper for taste

Procedure:


Grate potatoes and chop onion.
Add other ingredients, and mix well.
If the batter is watery add a bit more flour.

Heat oil in a cast iron pan.
Drop latke mixture into the pan and fry.
When brown on one side, turn over and brown other side.

When finished, enjoy, or put into a baking pan to warm later.
