Victorias Songe Cake

Ingredients:
  • 300g Flour
  • 300g Butter
  • 300g Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Icing Sugar (optional)
  • Cherry Jam

Procedure:

OPEN OVEN TO 175 DEGREES CELCIUS
First mix the butter and sugar using an electric mixer, until smoothe. While its mixing add the baking soda, and bicarbonate of soda to the bowl of flour. Then slowly add the flour mixture into the mixture of butter and sugar, in the middle of adding the flour add the vanilla and the egg to the mixture. Once its all mixed up, place it in the pan (make sure to grease the pan), then put it in the oven for 30 mins.
